Increase in import duties on a range of iron and steel products from zero to 5% (restoration of previous duty). Melting scrap of iron and steel (other than stainless steel) temporary exempted (from 17 March 2012 to 8 May 2013). On 8 May 2013, increase of import tariffs (from zero to 2.5%) on melting scrap of iron or steel (other than stainless steel); scrap of stainless steel, for the purpose of melting; and aluminium scrap (HS 7204; 7204.21; 7602). Present duty structure on certain iron and steel products has been increased as under: 7206-7207 (10%); 7208-7212 (12.5%); 7213-7217 (10%); 7219-7220 (7.5%); 7221-7223 (10%); specified goods under 7225-7226 (5/10/12.5%); 7227-7228 (10%)
