Imposition of a baseline reciprocal additional tariff of 10% on imports from all countries (except for Belarus, Canada, Cuba, Mexico and the Russian Federation); 11/04/2025: Exclusion of certain semiconductors from the tariffs. This exclusion is retroactively valid from 5 April 2025; 07/08/2025: Pursuant to the newly issued Executive Order, reciprocal tariff rates were implemented, with specific rates assigned to certain countries, thereby terminating baseline tariff rates for those. Measure was terminated for Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Cameroon, Chad, Costa Rica, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, European Union, Fiji, Ghana, Guyana, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Lesotho, Libya, Liechtenstein, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Mauritius, Moldova, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nauru, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Norway, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Serbia, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Syria, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Viet Nam, Zambia and Zimbabwe; 05/09/2025: Modification of scope of reciprocal tariffs and establishment of procedures for implementing trade and security agreements; 14/11/2025: Modification of reciprocal tariff scope, exempting certain agricultural products; 24/02/2026: Termination of the measure following the 20 February U.S. Supreme Court ruling
