Customs (Prohibition of Imports) (Amendment) (No.3) Order 2013 (5 pages, in English and Malay)

The Customs (Prohibition of Imports) Order 2012 is amended in Part II of the Fourth Schedule by inserting the particulars for construction materials after item 9. The import of these materials must be accompanied by a Certificate of Approval (CoA) or a letter of exemption issued by or on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB). The detailed information on certificate of approval or a letter of exemption for the importation of aluminium products is available at (https://www.cidb.gov.my/cidbv2/images/library/quest_procedureBI.pdfThe approval of the products is based on the compliance to identified Malaysian Standards as follows:1.      Products with HS 7005.29.900 and HS 7005.21.900; Malaysian Standard applied is MS 1135:2009. 2.      Products with HS 7005.10.900; Malaysian Standard applied is MS 2397:2011.3.      Products with HS 7005.30.000; Malaysian Standard applied is MS 1498:2011.4.      Products with HS 7607.20.100; Malaysian Standard applied is MS 2095:2008.5.      Products with HS 6811.82.100, HS 6811.82.200 and HS 6811.82.900; Malaysian Standard applied is MS 1296:2010.6.      Products with HS 6806.10.000 and HS 7019.90.100; Malaysian Standard applied is MS 1020:2010.
