Customs (Prohibition of Imports) (Amendment) (No. 3) Order 2011 (1page, English)

Customs Act 1967, Customs (Prohibition of Imports) (Amendment) (No. 3) Order 2011 ; ; The Customs (Prohibition of Imports) Order 2008 [P.U.(A) 86/2008] is amended in Part II of the Fourth Schedule, by inserting after item 9. The amendment to the Order specifies that the import of aluminium products (as stated in 4) shall be accompanied by a certificate of approval or a letter of exemption issued by or on behalf of Chief Executive Officer of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) for the construction sector or SIRIM for non construction sector. ; ; The detailed information on certificate of approval or a letter of exemption for the importation of aluminium products is available at: ; http://www.cidb.gov.my/v6/?q=en/content/168 ; http://www.sirim-qas.com.my ; ; The approval of the products is based on the compliance to identified standards (as in Annex 1). ;
