CD/K/04-1:2003. Batteries for use in photovoltaic power systems — Specification Part 1: General requirements

This East African Standard specifies general requirements and methods of test for secondary cells and batteries used in photovoltaic power systems. The Standard does not include specific information relating to battery sizing, method of charge or PV system design. The standard provides guidance in understanding battery charging requirements in relation to the operational parameters that affect overall PV system design and battery performance. This standard will aid in battery selection, evaluation, and PV system design, and provides methods of test for evaluating the selected battery. ;
