Ordinance No. 761 of 20 December 2018 amending technical specifications for vehicle lighting systems and devices

National Traffic Council - CONTRAN - Ordinance number 761, 20 December 2018This addendum aims at informing that the National Traffic Council - CONTRAN issued Ordinance number 761, 20 December 2018 in order to amend paragraph 1º and paragraph 2º of article 12 and to amend item 4.2.1.1 of Annex I of  Resolution 667, 18 May 2017, which lays down, among other things, technical specifications for lighting systems and their devices applicable to motor vehicles, vans, tractors, buses, trailers, etc. with the aim of enhancing vehicle safety through the harmonization of national vehicle safety requirements with equivalent international requirements, as provided for in the National Plan for the Reduction of Traffic Injury and Deaths – PNATRANS.
