The Road Vehicles and Non-Road Mobile Machinery (Type-Approval) (Amendment and Transitional Provisions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2022.

The purpose of this addendum is to inform WTO members that The Road Vehicles and Non-Road Mobile Machinery (Type-Approval) (Amendment and Transitional Provisions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2022, notified in G/TBT/N/GBR/48, have been approved by the UK Parliament and the final version has been published at https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2022/1273/pdfs/uksi_20221273_en.pdfThe scope of products covered by the regulations its technical requirements and the date it enters into force are all unchanged. However, additional time has been provided for manufacturers to adapt to the scheme. The mandatory application date has been extended from 1st July 2023 to 1st February 2024 for road vehicles and from 1st July 2024 to 1st February 2025 for road vehicle trailers. The mandatory application dates for all elements of the scheme have been extended and are set out in the PDF annex to this addendum.
