The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by prefabricated solar systems and solar collectors used to heat liquid at temperatures below 100ºC, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting human safety and the environment, and preventing deceptive practices. It applies to the following products: · Prefabricated solar systems · Flat-plate solar collectors · Evacuated tube solar collectors It does not apply to: Parts that make up or that are used in flat-plate or evacuated tube solar collectors.
