The notified Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by school and institutional commercial passenger transport vehicles, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting human safety and the environment, and preventing misleading practices. The notified Technical Regulation applies to school and institutional commercial passenger transport vehicles that are to be incorporated into the Ecuadorian motor vehicle fleet, whether imported into, assembled or manufactured in the country.
